Gavin Zeigler’s fascination with objects, coins, and obsolete stock certificates naturally led him into the three dimensional world of sculpture. These bronze sculptures, according to Gavin, “are discovered, not created. Assembled, not preconceived.” And it is in this process that a coloration occurs, forged from materials and form. Gavin goes on to say that, “to me, form and shape are, themselves, human language. It is this language that I respond to using discovery, geometry, and everyday experience to guide me through the creative process.”
